OUR CENTRE

Welcome to Care Nation Daycare and Out of School Care!

We are located at 6942 109 Street NW Edmonton. Located on the ground floor, we enjoy lot of sunshine. We have designated parking behind and on the side of our building that makes it very convenient for drop-off and pick-up, and there is a bus stop right out front of our building.

Our centre has 5 classrooms that accommodate up to 73 children from 0 months to 12 years old. Infants, Babies, Toddlers, Preschoolers and Out of school can attend on full-time, part-time, or backup care basis. We have transportation available for School Agers to and from surrounding local schools at no extra fee.

Inside you’ll find bright rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that are filled with educational toys that support our emergent curriculum and learn-through-play philosophy. Children are provided with healthy breakfast, hot lunch and snacks each day, prepared in our kitchen.

We have an outdoor playground where children experience nature and have the opportunity to further interact and develop their skills.

At Care Nation, our program is based on the concepts of FLIGHT. We believe in the importance of play, and we perceive play as one of children’s many languages. We view play as children’s way of communicating their feelings and ideas towards others and among themselves. Play enables children to explore the world around them and build relationships towards peers, Educators, and their families.

Children attending Care Nation will spend their day in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. Our daily program is based on the interests of the children, providing a variety of toys, materials and play experiences for children.

Children will spend their day in self-directed play, sensory experiences, indoor and outdoor physical play and exploring nature. Nutritious, home-made meals and snacks provide the children the energy they need for a day fun and exploration.

Our team of dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educators are committed to ensuring that your children are provided with the highest quality care available. All of our Educators are certified through the province of Alberta as Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Early Childhood Educators and go through our screening process to ensure that they are a good fit for Care Nation.
