Fees Structure, Subsidy and Payment Information

There are fees associated with registration. These costs are to cover the administration costs associated with enrollment. If you wish to be added to our waitlist, register on our website or give us a call. You could also send us an email or visit our facility to place your child on our waitlist. However, this does not guarantee you will get a space, rather it keeps you on the waitlist until a spot becomes available. The space availability is based on first come, first serve. For those not on a waitlist and receive an open spot that is available immediately, the $100 registration fee is due at the time of registration.

Overtime is defined as care any time outside of operating hours. Overtime fees are charged at $2.00 per minute after 6:00pm. This is paid directly to the staff and will be invoiced monthly at the end of the month. It is due the first day of the next month. This charge is to discourage late pick up times. Failure to pay overtime invoices can result in termination of care. No childcare receipt is given for overtime charges. We may waive your late fee, depending on the circumstances and if you have called us in advance. You may sometimes pre-arrange for a late pick-up by calling us or talking to us at least 24 hrs. in advance and a charge will be added to your fees. We are not always able to agree to a late pick-up.

Childcare fees, other than overtime or supply charges, are paid directly to our facility between the 1st and 5th of the month. Invoices will be sent out to you on the 15th of each month. There are NO refunds or pro-ratings for missed days including ANY center closures. This includes all sick and vacation time taken by families. Full fees are required to hold your child’s space. Please speak to the Program Director for further clarification. 

$30.00 penalty will be charged if payments are later than the 25th of the month. NSF cheques will be charged a $50.00 penalty. Payments are made by cash, bank draft or e-transfer to: info@carenationdaycare.ca every month. There is a form for you to sign at the time of enrollment.   Also, cheques and Credit cards are NOT available at this time unfortunately.
